About

B&B Parco Lambro - Milan

B&B Parco Lambro is a two-star bed and breakfast on Via Rombon 53, in a residential part of Milan. It's a converted apartment where the owner lives on site and rents out a few rooms, giving it a more personal feel than a typical hotel. The property offers Wi-Fi throughout, tea and coffee facilities in rooms, and free toiletries. Parking is available nearby, though it's not on-site.

The rooms keep things simple: a single with garden view and heating, and a double with private bathroom, city view, heating and air conditioning. Check-in is between 18:00 and 20:00, check-out from 08:00 to 11:00. The host is often mentioned by guests for being welcoming and helpful, sometimes leaving breakfast out for early departures.

In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

3 reasons to book
  • Host goes above and beyond — Multiple guests mention the owner's kindness, from providing detailed directions to leaving breakfast out for early flights. The personal attention makes the stay feel like a home visit.
  • Quiet, green setting — The B&B sits in a residential area near a big park, described as quiet and pleasant. It's a peaceful base away from the city's bustle.
  • Good transport links — Lambrate station is about a 5-minute walk away, with metro and bus connections. Linate airport is also within easy reach, and a bus stops right by the property.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Strict check-in window — Check-in is only possible between 18:00 and 20:00, which can be inconvenient if your arrival time doesn't fit. You'll need to plan around this.
  • Shared apartment setup — This is essentially an apartment where the owner lives in one room and rents out the others. That means common areas are shared, and it might not suit travellers looking for full privacy.
  • Walk to metro is a bit far — While Lambrate station is close, some guests note that walking to the metro can be around 1.4 km. It's manageable but not the most convenient if you're carrying luggage.

“Mr. Beppe is a really nice and friendly guy. You can tell he puts effort into keeping the house clean and lovely, making guests feel comfortable. I stayed just one night and had an early flight, so he left breakfast in the kitchen for me. Felt just like home.”

“This is a very nice place with a very friendly owner. Great choice for a short trip.”

“A nice, well-decorated flat in a quiet green part of Milan. Room is big with an interesting historic touch – decorations and the 50's building itself. The owner is intelligent and not obtrusive. You get a much better deal than a typical hotel at that price. Close enough (about 900 metres) to metro, railway, and not far from Linate airport. When you arrive the first time, ask the owner for detailed directions.”

“A nice owner always ready to help. Unusual interiors. I'd recommend this B&B for sociable tourists who enjoy staying in a family, since it's actually an apartment where the owner lives in one room and rents the others.”

“Good price, easy access to metro, fine for 2-3 day stay. You can buy a 3-day pass; route 55 bus takes you to nearby metros – first Udine, then Lambrate, then Loreto. Walking is a bit far, about 1.4 km, but if you use the bus (free with metro pass), it stops right at the B&B. Very friendly host and good experience.”
